Terms of Service

By using Bloom Bot ("the Bot", "we", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Bot or remove it from your server.

1. Description of Service

Bloom Bot is a comprehensive Discord bot that provides moderation, utility, entertainment, and community management features for Discord servers. The Bot operates through Discord's platform and requires appropriate permissions to function correctly.

2. User Requirements

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this Bot
  • You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
  • You must have appropriate permissions to add the Bot to servers
  • Server administrators are responsible for the Bot's usage in their servers
  • You must provide accurate information when configuring Bot settings

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Bot to:

  • Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • Spam, harass, or abuse other users
  • Share illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to exploit, hack, or damage the Bot or its infrastructure
  • Use the Bot for commercial purposes without explicit permission
  • Impersonate others or provide false information
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or malicious links
  • Bypass rate limits or attempt to overload the Bot's systems
  • Collect user data for unauthorized purposes

4. Bot Availability

  • The Bot is provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime or availability
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
  • We may restrict or terminate access for violations of these terms
  • Server limits and rate limits may apply to prevent abuse
  • Scheduled maintenance may occur with or without notice

5. User-Generated Content

  • You are solely responsible for all content you create using the Bot
  • We may remove content that violates these terms or Discord's policies
  • You grant us permission to store and process your content for Bot functionality
  • We are not responsible for user-generated content or its accuracy
  • You retain ownership of your original content

6. Moderation and Enforcement

  • Server administrators control Bot usage and configuration
  • We may take action against users who violate these terms
  • Actions may include warnings, feature restrictions, or permanent bans
  • Enforcement decisions are final and may not be appealable

7. Privacy

  • Your use of the Bot is subject to our Privacy Policy
  • By using the Bot, you consent to data collection as described
  • To avoid data collection, don't use the Bot or leave servers where it's present

8. Intellectual Property

  • The Bot, its code, features, and design are our intellectual property
  • You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the Bot
  • User-generated content remains your intellectual property
  • You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without permission

9. Disclaimers

  • The Bot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We don't guarantee accuracy of information provided by the Bot
  • Third-party services have their own terms and limitations
  • We are not responsible for server management decisions or conflicts
  • We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Server disruptions, conflicts, or management issues
  • Data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access
  • Damages arising from Bot usage, downtime, or service interruptions
  • Actions taken by server administrators or other users
  • Issues with third-party services or integrations
  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages

11. Third-Party Services

The Bot integrates with external services including Last.fm, Spotify, YouTube, Giphy/Tenor, OpenWeatherMap, Wikipedia, and Urban Dictionary. These services have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party service issues.

12. Server Administrator Responsibilities

If you're a server administrator:

  • You're responsible for Bot configuration and usage in your server
  • Ensure Bot usage complies with your server rules and Discord's policies
  • Configure appropriate permissions for your community
  • Monitor and moderate Bot-generated content
  • Report violations to appropriate authorities when necessary

13. Termination

  • You can stop using the Bot at any time by removing it or ceasing interaction
  • We may terminate your access for violations of these terms
  • Termination may be immediate and without notice for serious violations

14. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these terms at any time
  • Continued use of the Bot means acceptance of new terms
  • Major changes will be announced in our support server

These terms are governed by applicable laws in the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with EU jurisdiction and applicable international laws.
